Warranty For Refinishing And Plating
Do not apply making tapes of any kind to the plated parts. This may pull up the plating and will void warranty. Please inform your car builder or restoration shop of this possibility. If you do need to mask the part do so at your own risk.
Warranty covers paint finishes and plating to be free from defects against peeling (delamination), discoloration, fracturing or clouding.
We do not warranty against damage caused by scratches, chipping, impact, improper installation, and for exterior chromed parts road debris or road salt damage. Degrees of this type of wear is unavoidable if vehicle is to be driven and is considered normal wear.
Remember that your parts are coated with a painted urethane surface. This is not as durable as hard chrome, and will chip and scratch as easily as the finish on your car and should be treated with care to keep the parts finish looking good.
When you receive your parts, handle with care, the surface has cured enough for handling and installation but wont be fully cured for up to 30 days.
Exterior parts will not withstand automatic car washes, high pressure washers or steam cleaners. Hand wash only.
It will scratch easily!
Do not dry rub the surface when cleaning. This will turn small dust particles and debris into sandpaper and cause scratching. Do not use steel wool to polish. Dust with a tack rag or California duster. If heavily soiled, clean with soap and water only.
Avoid using vinyl protectants or ammonia-based cleaners like window cleaners. These will eventually cloud the clear coat.
Warranty is void if damage is caused by neglect or mishandling I.E. Scratches, chipping, impact, or improper installation or usage of the part. Warranty is non- transferable.

Instrument Cluster And Interior Trim Installation Tips
Always disconnect your battery before disassembly or installation of your instrument cluster.
Mark all wires so your sure they go back in the same location.
To avoid damaging your newly restored instrument cluster bezel, drop your steering column before installation.
Never use electric screw drivers to install interior trim. It is to easy to over tighten screws and crack your parts. Most of these plastic trim parts are over 30 years old and are very brittle. Handle with care.
Do not force parts to fit. Clear all obstructions
Use common sense .... If you think a certain substance or action may be hard on the finished surface, it probably will.
